1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the OneUpOneDown & Women In Tech Mentoring coaching platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Our platform connects members of OneUpOneDown and Women In Tech Mentoring communities with professional coaches through our partnership with a)plan Coaching. Services include:

  • Coach matching and discovery services
  • Scheduling and communication tools
  • Access to coaching sessions
  • Resources and support materials

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • A member of OneUpOneDown or Women In Tech Mentoring communities
  • Capable of entering into a legally binding agreement

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of our platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Treat coaches, mentors, and other users with respect
  • Attend scheduled sessions or provide adequate notice for cancellations
  • Not misuse the platform or engage in harmful behavior

5. Coaching Services

Coaching services are provided by independent coaches through a)plan Coaching. While we facilitate connections, the coaching relationship is between you and your coach. Coaches are certified professionals, but coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment.

6. Special Offer Terms

The free first month offer for OneUpOneDown and Women In Tech Mentoring members:

  • Is available to eligible new users only
  • Cannot be combined with other offers
  • Subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued
  • Requires registration and verification of community membership

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the platform are owned by OneUpOneDown, Women In Tech Mentoring, or their licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneUpOneDown, Women In Tech Mentoring, and a)plan Coaching shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or services.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
